One day, Srimath Ramanuja was explaining the beauty of Tirumalai - Sri Srinivasa Perumal and His greatness as explained by the great Alwars. While explaining, Srimath Ramanuja asked who will stay in Tirumalai to take up the Nandava Kainkaryam (dedicating flowers to Sri Srinivasa Perumal).
At that time, Swamy Ananthan Pillai expresses that he will take care of the Kainkaryam as other Sishyas remains silent. Sri Ramanujar was extremely happy and as Swami Ananthazhwar accepted this, he prasied him by saying he was the only male ("Neerey Aan Pillai").
