Kanchipuram is one among the Mukthi Kshetrams and is said to includes so many sacred temples within itself. One among such kshetram is Thoopul which has given us a great Aacharyan - Swami Vedanta Desikar. He is said to be Hamsam of Thiruvengamudayan's Temple Bell (Mani). His parents are Ananthasoori and Thothaarambal.
