He got his early teachings from Kidambi Appullaar, who taught him with Garuda Mantram. Chanting Garuda Mantram for so many times, Periya Thiruvadi - Garudar came infront of him and taught the Sri Hayagreeva Mantram, which made him to be the King of many arts.
