Ungal puzhakkadai

This Paasuram is explained in such a way that the Paavai who is still sleeping has given an assurance on the previous day that she will also join along with Sri Andal and other Paavais in the Paavai Noanbhu. But still, she is sleeping.

"Paavai! The flower, which is found behind your house, has started to open and 'Alli' flower has closed its self. The Andhanars who holds Sangu along with them are making their way towards the temple to get Sri Krishna's blessings. You said last light that you will wake all of us. But still, you are sleeping. Did your tongue only give assurance? But you are not keeping up your words. Come out from you house and explain the greatness of the thirukKaram of Sri Krishnar which holds Sangu and Chakkaram and who has beautiful eyes."

Words and the meanings:

Engalai Munnuam Ezhuppu : This line refers that the Paavai had given an assurance that she will wake all the other Paavais.

Naanaathaai Navudaiyaai : 'Naa' means the tongue. This refers she has not kept her words.

Sangodu Chakkaram yendhum : The Sangu and Chakkaram which is found on the thirukKaram of Sri Krishnar.
