With the previous Paasuram, the first half of Thiruppaavai is getting completed. This Paasuram is the starting Paasuram of the second half of Thiruppaavai and is said to be the central Paasuram of Thiruppaavai.
This Paasuram is explained in such a way that all of the Paavais along with Sri Andal are waiting out the palace of Nandagopar to get the seva of Sri Krishnar. Sri Andal and other Paavais stand in front of the palace, which is protected by the soldiers outside.
"Nandagopar is the king of the Aayarpadi. He is residing inside the palace, in which the flag moves along with the wind. We all are Aayarkula Paavais and all are performing the Paavai Noanbhu. And Sri Krishnan has promised us that he gives Parai (Varam) for performing this Noanbhu. To get that Parai, we all have come. So, please can you open the doors?".
