This Paasuram is explained in such a way that Sri Andal and other Paavais are asking for the Varam and how they all will be after getting the Parai (Varam).
"Govinda! You have given lots of opportunities for your enemies to be close with you. But, still they don't want to be like that and you have won against them always. After getting the Parai from you, the entire world will praise us. As the result of completing the Noanbhu, we will wear new clothes, ornaments in ears, flowers on our hair and Silambu in our legs after this, we will take the rice which is soaked in milk and ghee and that ghee will flow in our hands. We will enjoy all these and these are because of the Parai, given by you.

Govinda is a special name which is liked by Sriman Narayanan. "Koodarai" is referred to the enemies of Sri Krishnar, who wins over them. |
